Also, this might be dumb, but I thought through it (I didn't think through it, I've been on and off drinking and watching Ozark) and I have the 'rona.

I don't know if this means that I'm about to die or if there's someone that can save me (or if I made an indy/maf's live easier by coming out), but figure it's worth knowing for civs so we can best design our response when someone else comes out as being infected.
 
And I'm vanilla now (although I do have a few more pieces of info), so probably a good person to test it on.

I can, but I'm still struggling with that. It's entirely plausible that I saw a cop or protection or something. It's not clear to me that it is +EV to come out with that info.
 
Of course its also possible that I already outed the cop because redwing is a prime investigation candidate there

Well to be fair, if Ph is the cop, he was going to likely have to claim today anyway because he needs to die. And mafia not having their RB anymore should give Ph more cover if he's the cop.

Also, and again this is pure speculation, but if there were specific civ curfew roles such as yours and JMan's, it would be weird if other civ special roles were also able to use their powers (because that would not be following correct COVID stay at home laws). I think it's more likely that Ph is bad than he's the cop, but we'd have gotten there regardless.

It may be true that we gave more power to mafia. It seems plausible. I think it is likely that everyone still could move, but Jman and I would have known everyone who moved last night. Killing him over SD3 cost us at least 1 maf.

One thing related to this that I hadn’t seen anyone mention yet was that, while we may have lost our beloved cheese from kansas, it appears that some people got cured. Therefore, there is a cure out there. Whether it’s random or targeted is an open question.

I don’t think there a cure. I think people just recover. We don't know if people who recovered can get it again.

One of Trump's N2 posts said there were 8 people infected. It does make sense that people do certain things during the day that cause them to be infected at night. Then the virus chooses who among the infected dies and the rest recover.

Problem with that is I was infected N2 and I didn't post at all on D2. We know gouda was infected. If it was based on D1 activity, I'm not sure what we had in common.
 
I also think it is likely that the only civ special roles that activated specifically due to martial law were the National Guard, but eagles would have more info on that than me.

How so? PH soft claims then no shows. I held off voting for him because he needed a chance to explain. Then he shows and totally ignores that he soft claim and ignores people asking him to explain. I knew he was around. Applying pressure in that situation is a good thing. I still don't understand how he skated on the soft claim and has seemingly been back burnered.

I'm the cop. My investigations come up civ, mafia, or no result.

N1 Gouda - civ
N2 Eagles - civ
N3 Redwing - mafia

But the N3 Trump post makes that last one tricky.
 
Yeah, I think either that is not a great claim or something messed up the results.
