Take this for what its worth but that trait is likely to catch up to you at some point as its -EV to carry baggage for civs. The game is the game.

Unless there is a really obvious tonal issue, the D1 votes are generally for weaker players. Doing things which are -EV for civs will start to get you in that bucket.

I have to play the game with two votes (DV7 and Numbers) bagging on me. That's fucking HARD. It's like a two vote handicap EVERY ROUND.

My memory is shit and that confirmed it. I can't believe I didn't print out that game and frame it. Yet, I have zero recollection of ever making eaglez feel like I feel in 90% of mafia games.

I realize the last few posts sound like im dogging mako. im not at all. im generally of the opinion that the new guys will be catastrophes. They all played well i thought.

Fuckin' RMP did amazing for his first game. As mafia, I knew he was civ - but I think I would have believed him even if I was a civ. His growth curve was so organic. Day 1, "wtf is happening." By the time he was killed, he sounded like a real player. I would have had a hard time lynching him as a civ.

No offense taken. I enjoyed the hell out of the game and the last few weeks of mafia. Definitely want to get better though so Townie will respect me.

The night ryala and bym got killed sent me to a bad place and I never recovered. I 2nd guessed every thought. The last game I drew that role, I played by the book and it worked nicely. Should have stuck to it.
