i think the night we killed you romanov thought qt was the cop and i thought it was you. both wrong. i wasn't around for the sd3/d14 hits. i wasn't in favor of either of them but i forget who i wanted to kill instead the one night (da maybe). i think it came out in the wash because i never had gooner pegged as a civ special.

hardest part in playing as mafia is when you don't have time because of work to be reading. i missed like 18 pages in a row at one point with my work and had to be in mafia chat like uh what happened the last 90 mins, thanks.

it wasn't a shot at GAt. he, QT, redwing etc were all cleared. redwing was most cleared so he had to die first for people to avoid asking why i was alive. qt figured me out so in a cointoss between her and GAt she had to go next. hit before that was gooner i think so there wasn't an opportunity to kill GAt.

i was lucky knight was jeff lowe. it synced perfectly with the jailing role. also, jailing usually doesn't return (in the games i've seen) a no result.
 
@eagles Ryala is absolutely the correct day 1 kill given the rosters, it was just horrible luck for you guys that the one person that would protect him was the BG

I think the lesson here is that in closed themed games which could have any role, relying about or even discussing mafiascum is silly.

Also contributing to my feeling that you were maf in the end was that you posted the lawyerly debate on my summation of what toogs said in the one post at 9:19 (or something like that) and then didn't respond to my response even though it was like 20 minutes before you said you had to go. And you ignored the equivocation.
 
Yeah I don’t avoid answering questions or duck call outs. I had a presentation bringing amazon to a municipality this morning. I was on the phone with the landlord in advance of the presentation to discuss logistics. I wasn’t hiding for 20 minutes.

For May 4 I think I’m going to run a game set in the Stephen King universe. Lot of potential characters with different stories & I haven’t run a game on this site in a long time.

Eaglez is just on another level and it was fun to watch. He carried the squad. Our inability to identify gooner as the cop killed us. Rommy and I had a brief discussion about it but we moved on to someone else and I don't think it was ever revisited. I know it impacted my game (and I know I shouldn't let it). I have to believe it impacted rommy's as well. iggles had a virtually impossible chore with so many clears and so many days to survive. Were it me, I think I would have white flagged it.

I think making the last mafia a traitor tilted the balance a little towards the town. However seeing if we just jailed gooner, he lost power is an interesting twist. Basically incompetence killed our chances. Eaglez was almost good enough to overcome our incompetence.

Not sure if I said this already, but Eaglez was also crazy busy and all those calls were legit. Made his effort even more impressive.
