Seriously, Fuck Asia

Boston is one of those bands classic rock stations love to play along with other shitty late 70s like Journey, Foreigner, etc.

J. Geils Band isn't a Boston band, they're a Worcester band.

Boston was a one album band. Their debut was pretty darn good. It went downhill quick for some reason.

Look, I know bees are vital to our ecosystem and all, but those little fuckers can kill me. So, I for one hope these hornets stick around for a year or so just to fuck with those little pollinating bastards a bit.

If you're gonna throw Slayer out there, Stryker fits the same category as Slayer (whether good/disproving or bad/proving)

Emmett Otter had the best jug band.

Can't really dispute that.

Though, because of work, I've been drawn to the Even Dozen Jug Band, which had David Grisman, Stefan Grossman, John Sebastian, Joshua Rifkin, Steve Katz, and Maria Muldaur (D'amato)! What a collection of folks. Even some Boston connections to sort of but not really bring this thread back to one of its tangents.

lololol this is terrible advice

That Boston debut was a trivia answer to best selling debut until Guns N Roses came along

Great album

Where do The Mighty Mighty BossTones fall?

Ok boomer

Boston songs all sound the same. Same key, same guitar licks, you can take a few bars out of any song and put it into another one and it’ll work.

Just listened to More Than a Feeling and Foreplay. They are definitely not in the same key. The tonic chord is different from one to the other.

And even if they were the same, who gives a shit? Do you think people listen to an album or attend a concert and think, "Damn, that's three songs in a row in the same key?" If there is one key that particularly suits the range of the vocalist, that's the one you write in.

I'm a Third Stage guy. Great futuristic time travel love story alien concept album.
