100% on this.
If you weren't making like 25 different arguments, some of which you are actually arguing against yourself on multiple threads, then it would be easier to have conversations with you. I'll try again, though.
It's on white people to change - absolutely, but, beyond platitudes, what does that mean? Probably more solidarity organizing and continued work to mitigate institutional racism in process and outcome. It probably also means not supporting candidates whose political careers include doing a lot of intentional or accidental damage to poor communities of color. In particular, not supporting prosecutors as politicians and mass incarceration architects would go a long way in terms of cleansing politics of perspectives on policing (not to mention the thin blue line) that are extremely detrimental to communities of color. Not supporting candidates that have had contentious relationships with communities of color in their constituencies also might be a good idea for white people. Listening to voices of POC communities and activist/advocacy groups before making decisions such as nominations, announcing endorsements, etc. would also go a long way to lifting up these communities.
What latest scandalous cable news scandal does this refer to? Van Jones hasn't mattered in on-the-ground politics in over a decade.
I would start with stop killing black people and letting people get away with killing black people.
So do you disagree that our chance for nonviolent change starts at the ballot box? I feel like you're just arguing to argue.
Love this. Trump done pissed off Taylor Swift.

""But people all across this country are enraged and rightly so," Biden said. "Every day African-Americans go about their lives with [the] constant anxiety and trauma of wondering 'Will I be next?' Sounds like an exaggeration, but it's not. These tragedies, these injustices cut at the very heart of our most sacred of beliefs — that all Americans, equal in rights and in dignity, are part of an ingrained systemic cycle of racism and oppression that throughout every part of our society."
The former vice president continued, "We need to make sure justice is real for the Floyd family, that the protections and the rule of law are real for every American, that officers in the Floyd case must be held accountable, including with the FBI investigation and independent Department of Justice civil rights investigation."
"If we're not committed as a nation, with every ounce of purpose in our beings — not just to binding up this wound in hope that somehow the scab once again will cover things over — but to treat the underlying injury, we're never going to eventually heal," Biden said."

I think any argument you make for electoralism as a solution is incomplete without you acknowledging the political and cultural gatekeeping that prevents major change agents from being nominated and elected. Until people at the ballot box start to take risks and have faith, they're going to get the same status quo and failed reforms.
Kory posted it about an hour ago in this thread. Not a scandal just an interview.
Van Jones = not crew

Yep. He was specifically talking about Amy Cooper but that was a shitty way to make his point. If there's anything that unites white people on race is their love of calling other white people racist without turning the lens on themselves.
Third degree murder charges plus manslaughter. I thought they’d start at second degree but third degree in Minnesota covers depraved indifference
lol, fuck Biden and this bullshit. He's as culpable as anyone in the conditions he laments.
