Townie's vote for dv7 is the best thing he's done all game and in my eyes is pretty definitive in making him unlikely to be Fring mafia. His vote last round for bym, as I stated right above this question you posted (seriously, none of you read my posts do you), is not as strong an indicator in the same way for him being not being Salamanca but it is decent right now and he would not be a top candidate for Salamanca right now. So I have him at present in the "not either" group.

Knight, again as I stated in my posts (read them, I'm begging any of you), is based on that one gouda opening post from D5 re: doofus. It's admittedly super thin and is the first read that I would drop but for right now it puts Knight ever so slightly lower in the pool.

What's bad about it is that you had the opportunity to claim your role, but instead you just posted your name. We're so fucking hemmed in by the rules that claiming is an amazing opportunity to clear up the game for civs - and instead of doing that, you created a giant fucking question mark.

Gooner's logic is wrong because you use effort as the metric to distinguish him as a civ - Gooner puts 100% into every game he plays, regardless of alignment. It's his best quality. I agree that his voting record is strong, but he's a busser and I could absolutely see him bussing either one of bym and DV7. My read of Gooner is always tone, because that's where his game struggles, and I have him as off. I'm still a bit fency about when he should be run though.

Duff's logic is wrong because the way he claimed was soft as shit. He should be a mafia lean.

Tejas should be a civ lean. Dude started out weak, but has really poured on lately. The gift receipt is just not a mafia play.

DaDeacs is fucking unreadable, but I lean civ on him right now. He's present and putting in effort.

On the differences we have:

Tim - had him as a weak maf read because he hasn't been contributing much and i did not like the switch to obv civ townie in the rommy implosion round. I said it in my writeup. I wouldn't object to someone calling him neutral but the indications we have point more negative than positive.

Gooner - I can't read gooner at all on tone so im going on what i can see as hard evidence

Tejas - i forgot the gift completely. Maybe not a mafia play but maybe an Indy play.

Duff - the claim was squishy, yes. Im also of the opinion that claims this game have been impacted by the ruleset. To put it bluntly, i get what the goal of those rules were but claims have been a shitshow this game as we adjust. His reaction after the claim is why i lean him civ. Add to that the vote on BYM and that leaves only Maf1 as an option which im factoring in.

I gave up what I am allowed to do. I dont have a "role" like cop or angel. Im just a character and I am aligned with the town. Thats what I can say at this time. Go read the rules and you can deduce the rest.

I havent had great votes, but my reads havent been terrible. I was against the doofus/redwing run up, and misread that as romanov being mafia and pushing bad people.

Other than that, all my reads are alive, so we can shake it up at the end.
