2020 Presidential Election: Biden v. Trump

Last night was great, Biden clearly won, Trump looked like a fucking lunatic, and the left got shit all over.

Starting to feel better about how things will turn out.

It is pretty amazing that every single person who I encounter on a daily basis would make a better presidential candidate than either of these two assclowns. But we get what we deserve. The chickens have come home to roost, thanks Obama. OBL is the real winner yet again, mission accomplished.

I agree that Trump was a complete disaster - no plan, no poise, insane, rude, and embarrassing. But Biden was fine - he showed compassion and restraint, and he addressed the questions asked of him. The only people I have seen trying to blame both candidates for the disaster that occurred last night are republicans that are at a total loss as to what to do regarding this election. They want to vote republican but they can't because Trump is dumb and out of control, so they try to paint both candidates as disasters, even though only one is.

We’ve seen Biden in several debates with million Dems, a handful of Dems, just Bernie, Paul Ryan, and even Sarah Palin. He’s never been in a shitshow debate. Can’t pin it on him. This is on Trump and Wallace.

Do you think maybe Wallace was only too happy to have it be a shit show? He's the 1 fairly honest anchor remaining at Fox and regularly calls Trump out. And as a practical matter, what more could he have done? I mean, he wasn't going to turn off Trump's mic.

I'd like to think the gotchas like "Proud Boys stand by" would matter, but they won't.

Beyond that, the takeaway across the board is shit show. I doubt there was any strategy involved but if Trump's goal was just to wipe out the debate as an unwatchable mess so horrific that nobody even cares whose fault it was... Mission accomplished.

You have to assume at this point that some number crunchers have a path figured out where Trump "wins" in a specific portion of election day states, then litigates away any further results that would move the needle enough to overturn his victory (which he'll surely proclaim on Nov 3rd). Plus there will surely be some emergency measures like screwing with electors.

Would be nice if once the pubs get their judge they started jumping ship as their numbers tank, but that doesn't seem likely...

It must be tough to be a black Trumper and have to defend his call to action to a racist militia.

Tim Scott made his choice awhile ago.

This, plus they come up with ridiculous hypothetical policies that Biden supposedly supports that will lead to the end of the country. They have no choice but to vote Trump or abstain because they can’t support these nonexistent threats.

Boils down to they don’t want to take the personal L for being wrong about Trump and his party.

Trump encourages white supremacy but Biden wants to bulldoze my suburb and make public housing for Anitfa members. These two things are equivalent so I will not vote for either candidate.

I just had a black male trump canvasser ring our doorbell.

have seen several tweets of low-res video of Biden seemingly adjusting a wire under his jacket, which under high-res video is a crease on his shirt. also of something up his sleeve that crazies think is either some kind of communications device or IV when in actuality it's Beau's rosary he wears on his wrist.

Maybe the moderator needs microphone kill switches so that the "uninterrupted " two minutes is just that. Lips might be moving but no sound gets broadcast.

That's a cop-out excuse for democrats who refuse to admit that they couldn't get out of their own way to find anyone better than the absolute lowest common denominator to prop up and run. I'm a registered Independent who plans to vote for several Dems in this election, including Cal Cunningham, David Brown, and Josh Stein, who all affect me way more than the President does. And I stand by my 2016 vote, on record on here from election day then, for Deez Nutz given the two 2016 candidates. 2020 is significantly worse given the current situation. I can understand voting for Biden given the alternative, but anyone who actually thinks that Biden is an objectively good candidate, did well in that debate, or will actually make a good President is dumber than the typical Trumper.

Why must Republicans mock Christians?
