The 2020-21 College Football Thread: Alabama Unleashes Bold Familiar Flavor on CFB !!

The 2020 College Football Thread: Football has a Bold New Flavor !!!!!!!!

Phil Fulmer told Jeremy Pruitt when he was hired in 2018 that he would be judged by how his team performs against Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. He hasn't beaten any of them yet and hasn't been truly competitive against them in seven games. Now they're getting manhandled at home against a middling Kentucky team. Kentucky hasn't won at Neyland since 1984.

The recruiting has been pretty good for a couple of years, but this team is not good.

I think Kentucky is better than their record - they played Auburn even for a half, and missed an extra point in overtime to lose to Ole Miss. The Kentucky defense itself has outscored their last two opponents 21-7

I think they're about as good as 2-2. And Auburn isn't all that great. They've got three games left where they'll be big underdogs (UGA, Bama, UF) and three winnable games that give them a shot at finishing .500 (Mizzou, Vandy, Carolina).

Clemson hanging 73+ on Ga Tech.

The Cumberland University (formerly Cumberland College) community appreciates this.

Louisville missed a 52 yard FG to end the half by a few inches.

South Carolina over Auburn. First win by SC over Auburn since SC joined the SEC.

Wake Forest's own Brad White is their defensive coordinator. It's good to see the defense come along after losing a lot of talent.

Forgive me but it feels good to root for the Seminoles tonight.

Great finish to Memphis beating UCF late and holding on to get that monkey off their back.

Dope ass TD by FSU and of course here comes the buzzkill replay officials to ruin all the excitement and momentum of the game.

You know maybe, just maybe, UNC really isn't close to being the #5 team in the country. <snort>
