What is more physically taxing, chat friends, walking briskly or swimming underwater(with the obvious caveat that you can breathe underwater so you are able to replenish your oxygen)?

def swimming, you're pushing your body weight against constant resistance

This is a kid stuff question. Fluid dynamics of air and water are a duh. Water has a higher friction coefficient. The end.

Might be an interesting question: is there a speed that the deviation in energy required to move is significantly closer? Like, if you're moving at 1,000 mph, is that an order of magnitude harder than moving at 100 mph? I dunno the answer to that. There's probably a fluid dynamics chart on the googles.

There is a reason that a firmer swimmer had no trouble keeping a basketball over his head when that simple task seems to be difficult to impossible for many basketball players.

I was this close to signing up for V Shred until I read the reviews. That dude's been trying to convince me on the youtube for 2 months now, almost had me.

man, i am so done with millennials inventing companies that charge you money to receive a "customized" (read: algorithm tells you things you already know) product

blame entrepreneur classes; let the free market decide

Step Brothers was fine but I don't find myself rewatching it - just like Anchorman and the other Ferrell stuff. Old School maybe the exception.

Oh man maybe I just don't comedies anymore. Unless they are "indie" films. What have I become.

Like I love Palm Springs - does that make me cool or lame?

are you 80? that would explain a lot. do you get irrationally angry with kids being on your lawn?

Did you two watch JoJo Rabbit together? That was another movie we both laughed at pretty consistently.

I loved this movie. "The Japanese don't LOOK very Aryan."

flossing is my least favorite of the regular hygiene tasks

I floss twice a year, right before I go to the dentist.

Anyone else use a waterpik?

All of these. I hate flossing, got a waterpik so that I seldom have to do it. if i'm waterpiking enough that my gums don't bleed then that's plenty. flossing sucks.

here a couple podcast ideas. you can send me a cut of the Casper and NordVPN wealth you rake in:

"Why is this Awesome?" - a podcast that explains in layman's terms why culture holds certain things in high regard (the mona lisa, Falling Water, battle of Cannae, what the fuck ever)
"Star Trek: Earth" - an episode by episode conversion of The West Wing into the every day running of the Federation from HQ in San Francisco in the post-Dominion War era
