2020 Presidential Election: Biden v. Trump

To be fair, it's hard to tell anymore. I have seen some interviews with actual Trump supporters that aren't much different.

Breaking News: TV news sucks as bad as Facebook no matter who your friends and family are. Why do y’all watch that shit?

Because I'm addicted to polling numbers and maps. Nothing more satisfying in the morning than looking at a red and blue map. Really gets me going.

She's been so great throughout this campaign, her little videos are nearly always comedy gold. A bright spot in an otherwise very dreary and depressing and stressful presidential campaign season.

Obama was a once in a generation candidate that simultaneously drove turnout across the country while also investing his massive war chest into state-wide initiatives in the Midwest which helped target suburban and rural areas. Still plenty racist. I didn't say Clinton ran a great campaign - her failure to shore up support in the Midwest and spend significant time there down the stretch is likely her greatest shortcoming - but let's not pretend like there's some big mystery as to one of the major reasons why Clinton had low support in rural areas.

And outperformed every other democratic candidate from 2000 forward with these same voters not once, but twice.

Again, all of these places have a baseline of democratic voters. The ongoing willingness to look for fault with people willing to vote for Democratic candidates but not with the Democratic candidate is stunning. Again, Bernie torched her with these same voters while carrying a populist message about the return of the American blue collar job. It is not surprising Trump did the same thing. Your answer - and that of others here - well, all the voters are sexist. That's lazy. She offered them no message. Contrast that with Biden who is talking about "buy American" and "build American", etc. It's basic politics. She blew it.

i see this stuff but then i just keep thinking about how bad the lincoln project ads are
