Unpopular opinions

I’m unashamedly on team fried chicken breast. Also I slather hot sauce on it like a glaze.

It’s been years and years since I had it, but Smithfield’s (easternish NC bbq and chicken chain) was pretty good. Also Harris Teeter has good fried chicken especially if you can get it right out of the fryer. And it’s like $5 a bucket.

since McDonald's has its HQ here, their menu changes make the local business news and I got an alert that they're planning to compete with Chick-Fil-A et al with a new chicken sandwich

Is it the same Southern Chicken Sandwich from a few years ago? It was a solid substitute on a Sunday.

This is like fucking with socks on but occasionally spreading some whipped cream on them titties to spice things up.

The batter has a strange flavor and the tenders are like 60% batter crust and 40% meat. Haven't had the sandwich in a long time I'll have to try it again I guess but not sure how it could be better than bojangles

TIL that W&B doesn't know what FRIED CHICKEN is supposed to be like

I saw a replay a few weeks ago of Virginia upsetting FSU in 1995(?) and immediately thought how terrible and anti-climactic that ending would've been with replay. How many other classic endings would've been ruined in the replay era? (not necessarily different result, just that all the air would've been sucked out of it). Bush Push (and the Leinart fumble right before it) in 2005, Iron Bowl Kick Six in 2013, Titans/Rams Super Bowl, both Giants/Pats Super Bowls would've stalled for long reviews, etc

the kick six never would have happened without a replay review on the play before that put a second back on the clock. So that's actually a classic ending that would never have happened WITHOUT replay.

Is it an unpopular opinion to say Mountain Fried Chicken sucks?

Bojangles >Popeyes>Church’s>>>>>KFC>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Mountain Fried Chicken

Holy shit this is the right thread

They already had this a few years ago. The "Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich." It was basically a chick fil a sandwich on a mcdonalds bun with mcdonalds pickles. It was good. I support them doing it again.

Agreed on both HT and Smithfields. Publix also has really good fried chicken.

And a gas station on south blvd allegedly has delicious chicken in charlotte.

I know it’s not popular that’s why I posted here. But it’s nice knowing I’ll always have the white meat freely available while everyone else is fighting over the thighs.

It’s the shell at East/West blvd and south blvd. Never been there but I’ve heard it too.

some of the best fried chicken throughout the south is at gas stations and truck stops

I know a member of the McDonalds board of directors and he legit gets something from McD's at least once a day. It's so bizarre. Dude is mega rich (lives at the Four Seasons on Michigan Ave) but he just loves his McD's (and he's also a bit quirky).

Have you had Kochix? It's sketchy (though not as sketchy as when that place was an Arthur Treachers - whoa) but the chicken is actually really great.

Maybe this is the correct thread for this sentiment, but I never thought Mountain Fried Chicken was very good.

Have never been inside the location but have gotten it delivered several times. Best korean style is at Anju or Mandu tho!

I believe this is the right place for this take.

I don't like fried chicken. It's greasy and it doesn't taste very good and every time I have it I wish I were eating almost anything else.

The hotel or the landscaping business?
