The 2020-21 College Football Thread: Alabama Unleashes Bold Familiar Flavor on CFB !!

Marco Wilson is a damn idiot. What a stupid way to lose a game.

However, it shouldn’t have ever been that close.

Somebody do records of teams Georgia lost to with a fourth string QB and records of teams Florida lost to with a Heisman candidate.

Why do coaches hire Todd Grantham ?

Dan Mullen on possibly making the playoff as a two-loss team (I guess the questioner assumed they would beat Alabama):

“maybe we should played less games”

*fewer

shoe toss was stupid, but the LSU kicker nailing it from 57 was pretty sweet

Today’s game is a good example of why I don’t think Mac Jones should be the Heisman winner. Totally pedestrian first half and Alabama is winning 38-3. Guy is a really good college QB but he’s playing behind the best line in football, has the best WR in football and a top tier running back.

So make your argument for anyone else. Feel free to insert Trevor Lawrence and Clemson into the above sentences.

We’ve seen Clemson without Lawrence. They suffered their only loss of the year and barely beat Boston College.

Clown.

People sure do like defending Dan Mullen. He's awful.

Awful coach? Or awful person?

Have no idea what he's like in person but he's far and away the best coach in the SEC East. However he's falling back to the pack as long as he continues to employee Todd Grantham.

Mark Stoops would be #2 with Drinkwitz close behind at #3. Big gap to #4 (Kirby) with an even bigger gap to #5 (Pruitt).

Shane Beamer and Vandy's hire are currently N/A.

Just saw where after one season at Duke after transferring from Clemson, Chase Brice is entering the transfer portal again. Thought Cut was the QB whisperer.
