Nah, we ate at Red's and it was amazing. Saltwater better? We honestly may stay in Shem sometime. The hotel prices are so low, and it looks like a pretty fun place to be.

Nah they are pretty similar, I just guessed Saltwater Cowboy's first. Yeah Shem is a lot of fun, if you're just looking to hang out and drink by the water that's the spot to do it

I was kinda taken aback with the location of public housing in relation to houses that were obviously worth multiple millions of dollars honestly. Good on you, Charleston.

Trust me, it was not some sort of progressive scheme.

I don't know anyone that uses MM for millions. It's $1B, $1M and $1K. GTFO with $1M=$1,000.

CT Brasky #2: I Drink Your Milkshake!

1M = 1 X 1,000 = 1,000

1MM = 1 X 1,000 X 1,000 = 1,000,000

don't 👏 use 👏 1M 👏 if 👏 u 👏 ain't 👏 prayin 👏 to 👏 Jupiter 👏 and 👏 Mars

i wake up everyday and leave an offering to Zeus at my home shrine so that's why I stick with 1kilo

Highly recommend NICO. Hardly ever crowded. Damn good happy hour specials, oysters, booze, and French/American food.

ETA, it's not waterfront, just off the creek, but way less touristy/chaotic, IMO.

Yep. They're awesome. Go for it. Wear the wool runners in winter or comfort/casual, and then the dashers for running and nice weather.

I have the tree runners which, despite their name, are not to be used as running shoes, and they're super comfy for just casual wear. I also have the Mizzles wool runners and they are good for the winter, but they are tighter and don't breathe due to the waterproofing.

Chef there (Nico Romo) led the kitchen at Fish for like a decade - I didn't got to to Fish a lot when I lived there, but every time I did go I thought it was a killer meal.

Dude is an absolute boss in the kitchen.

All the Charleston talk has made me really nostalgic - going to have to head back one of these days for a long weekend.
