I don't get why a fake RB of the RBer is any more audacious that a goon tbh. Diggler continuing to push me here is probably good for him though.
 
Is this digglers first ever game? Did I miss any games in the interim?

the rationale behind self-rb'ing or not using the rb and claiming by mafia on day 1 is that the stakes are the lowest due to the lowest mathematical odds of a successful RB

lower odds than, say, after the angel announces himself

The self RB is a very down the fairway kinda play for mafia. More so than randomly RBing I think. You don't want your play to be so predictable that a RB claim functions as something of an investigation. The post thats sorta angle shooty about a PM is the thing that should be best for diggler. He's never getting that guidance from maf chat/gooner, and if he's never played before, I don't know where else it comes from.

I also hate that this is a thing I'm talking about.

Pushing away from diggler is probably bad for me, but that post is stuck with me now

I don't think that post is made if he's bad then. It's frowned upon enough that for a guy that didn't know any better/hasn't played before... where is it coming from?

But yeah, he's been pretty good and should keep playing.

dumbtelling is, for example, if you are a civ and you say we should kill X who the mafia killed last night. it clears you because if you were in the mafia you would know that person was dead bc you ordered the hit, but if you were a civ, you could have conceivably just missed it because you weren't around at the deadline.

angleshooting is cheating, basically violating the spirit of the rules if not the letter of the rules. you may or may not have accidentally done something that got a mod warning that is frowned upon and could be against the spirit of the game, which is talking about a PM.
