Seems like we could use more of the junebug sharing his experience actually relevant to the conversation and less junebug trolling politics.
Gotta love how Junebug thinks academic work is about the "clicks." Dumbasses like him think it works the same on both sides. Just because The Federalist just makes up shit it thinks people will like doesn't mean academia works the same way.
Why do you think the colonists fought for their Independence?
So universities paid you to counsel them on how not deny people for tenure?
So they could say "Merry Christmas" when they went to Walmart and their kids could pray before the math test.
So we've entered "This tome is too sacred for questions" territory?
I mean, WFF is just ripping pages straight from the jh playbook, no?

Read the Declaration of Independence, all of it. (Then send a copy to Hannah-Jones.)
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal
This line's a real banger

I’m not sure what sailor is arguing over the Declaration of Independence. The fact that it doesn’t say “We are declaring our independence because we want to keep our slaves” is not the big gotcha that he must think it is.
i have, have you?
grievances over self-governance and taxation policies doesn't necessarily equate to high minded principles. viewing it as some sort of Enlightenment Apotheosis is a lens just like CRT
I mean, the fact that references to slavery were expunged from the Declaration is a good place to visit. probably a politically expedient decision so the Southern states would sign on.
just a thought
