But I'd say, trust the math, live your life, maybe know you're a 25% shot or so to get a breakthrough case is my advice. The #stats say its no different than a standard cold/flu when vaxxed and my #anecdote supports it

I would be there if they could finally confirm that a vaccinated breakthrough case is not like a 10% chance of long-term brain fog/difficulty working or playing sports. Until then there will still be some worry for me.

“There was a significant drop in the sperm counts of the patients after their treatment with Ivermectin,” the study’s authors concluded.

The “Commissioner's” of all my golf groups (Tues, Thurs, Sat.) have just put out a memo asking any “unvaccinated” player to identify themselves as others may chose not to play with them.

I agree. Too many of us, particularly in our age group, are susceptible to COVID and can afford any risk of infection. I also feel strongly that anyone who chooses not to vaccinate need to identify themselves so others can make the decision whether they want to play/socialize with them.

That Ivermectin sterilization info takes care of the Texas abortion issue. Addresses Palma’s Idiocracy theory too. It’s based on a questionable study from 10 years ago though.

The study in question was not published in a credible journal, nor was it hosted by an accredited, reputable institution. In the decade since the study’s supposed 2011 publication, there has been little — if any — related research to confirm its findings. Furthermore, a spokesperson for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration told Snopes that infertility in men is not a known side effect of ivermectin and, as such, is not included in U.S. labeling requirements.

My daughter caught Covid at 11 years 11 months and 18 days. First, where are we in the progress for youngest if anyone knows? Second, when should she be vaxxed given the brief period of Covid protection she has/had?

That sucks, man. There are clinical trials going on now for 6 month to 11 year olds. I've heard late fall for availability. I'm guessing January. She'll be able to get it when she turns 12 though. The recommendation is that people who have had COVID should get vaccinated.
 
Thanks for your concern. So its been a couple weeks and she's better now and 12. So I should make an appointment forthwith.
 
Schools are just getting killed here (Jackson County, Georgia). We already sent our high schoolers home. Waiting on the middle and elementary, where we have mask mandates.

She should be able to get it at the pediatrician’s office.

We’ve failed children and young adults in this pandemic. It’s yet another national and global problem where they bear the brunt of the impact.

Good. Vaccines weren't anywhere near a political issue when it was smallpox or polio and they shouldn't be now.

The mediums through which misinformation could be spread were pretty limited back then. I don't think we ever get back to those days unfortunately.

Your point is valid. It doesn't help when the President says, "The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the Government, and I'm here to help." That attitude has been pushed by the Republican party for quite a while now.

WS Christian Academy has had to quarantine entire classes due to too many cases. They had no issues last year.
 
This Ivermectin thing could be a great new eugenics tool for dumb white people, where we trick them into sterilizing themselves.
