Aren't the Hornets still paying most of that to Batum? Maybe this past year was the last one.
Pop needs 26 wins to get the regular season record. I think the Spurs will get that, but not sure how many more. It's quite possible they'll do a soft tank if that looks likely. I'm confident they'll get between 26-30 wins or 40+ but not in-between.
Has anyone made money on the T-Wolves over since KG left? They've had 3 seasons with over 34.5 wins since KG left. Two (well, 1.5) of those seasons with with Thibs and Butler. 35 wins would be a huge season for the T-Wolves.
I mean they won 47 games and made the playoffs in 2017-2018, which isn't forever ago. KAT is an elite player, Anthony Edwards looks to be really good. It's coaching that holds them back more than anything.
The show essentially will replace Rachel Nichols’s “The Jump,” which was a staple of ESPN’s daily NBA coverage since 2016 before it was canceled amid controversy last month.
“NBA Today” will debut in October ahead of the NBA season and air from 3 to 4 p.m. Eastern time every weekday. Andrews will be joined by a regular panel of analysts: former NBA players Vince Carter and Kendrick Perkins, current WNBA player Chiney Ogwumike and writer Zach Lowe.
Andrews, 26, is a former NBA reporter for the Chicago Tribune and an up-and-coming NBA personality at ESPN. She also will receive a contract extension, the network said in a news release Monday.
