2021 Carolina Panthers Thread - Time for the 2022 thread

Hey at least we've made it clear that we're #RapeOUT as long as we're winning!

Agreed. I'm glad Fit was able to snag a 1st round CB so we can condemn the Bucs for not taking a stand against domestic violence.

Cool send Darnold and a 1st and call it a day. Tell them to go fuck themselves, otherwise.

I was reading that Stephen Ross really wants Watson. I still can't believe that anything happens before the trade deadline unless there is an announcement that there will be no state or federal charges. Owners can be stupid (and I think Ross is), but what GM is going to sit idly by while his owner gives up multiple 1sts for a player who may possibly be facing criminal charges? That's why I don't see anything happening till the offseason.

While one might think that it would be an advantage to have Darnold continue to play well and for Tua to continue to have injuries in terms of Carolina being favored over Miami for such a trade, it also depends what Houston wants. It's possible Houston doesn't think either Tua or Darnold are significant upgrades over Taylor, and they could be high on Mills and just want picks and no QB in exchange.

Not sure what this has to do with Sam Darnold's Carolina Panthers.

But seriously, if Darnold's play and the situation lowered the asking price for Watson to Darnold + Brown, Burns, Chinn, or Horn + 2022 1st round pick + 2023 2nd round pick, would you do it?

Hard no.

There's no way the Panthers or any other team makes a deal with Watson until the smoke is cleared. It's not to Houston's advantage either to do it before then.

Another good breakdown of the defense that includes the overall strategy in the draft and free agency.

I’m going to go ahead and admit I was wrong about questioning Tepper’s logic with respect to hiring college coaches but not wanting a QB right out of college. He is nailing it.

Third Leg is calling the next two Panthers games. Here’s a brief interview with him about how the Panthers are doing.

Can the Panthers D get to Dak? The answer seems to be Yes.

Can the Panthers D stop the Cowboys running game? The answer seems to be No.

I’ve never see a WR better after contact than Moore. Nobody.

Sam Newton/Cam Darnold for the TD!

That drive was as pretty as the one the cowboys ran. I’m impressed with that response.

Hosed. Clear fumble. Can’t wait for dv7 to bitch about some other call not nearly as crucial.
