actually i'm not that invested. i just didn't find Dune that interesting when I read it a few years ago. probably hits harder if you read it for the first time as a teenager, like Hitchhiker

i'm not crazy about Dune but I generally liked the book

probably spent more time with Westwood's Dune 2000 tbh

Yeah, the more I read, the more it sounds like that was what happened (projectile / shrapnel).

I dropped MBMBAM last year after listening since like episode 100. Just felt like they were exhausted and just going through the motions. Is it any good nowadays?

Fall break for the kids, so I'm heading to the beach Sat - Mon. HS kid wants to go to Page/Grimsley tonight. Will be driving during the first part of the game, so hopefully I can find it on some backwoods eastern Carolina local station, or I maintain enough service to stream Stan through the app.

I mean, I haven't seen it yet, I'm just ignoring your review so I can go in fresh. But you can't compare a Villenueve movie with a Twilight movie. That just can't happen again.
