I would say that Mike Buddie being the AD at Army means we’ll be too nice to try to get out of the series but I don’t think Currie gives AF about being nice.

The key to the offense performing at an elite level will come down to the OLine against both Clemson and NCSU. Both of those teams have big defensive fronts that can cause penetration and not allow the mesh point to last 2+ seconds.

Good question, but some of the injuries were from the game. Another downside to playing Army. From that list, I know Tyler Williams, Zion Keith, and Chelen Garnes started but got hurt midgame. And the Smenda ejection hurt too.

That is crap, that type of offense has been around forever, the top programs used to run the option. We cut block all the time under Grobe. I understand being upset over the defensive performance, but that is just a lame excuse. Army has every right to play whatever style under the rules gives them the best chance to win, don't use loser excuses, its pathetic. That said, we got the win, Go Deacs!

They can play whatever style works best for them but we don't have to play them in the middle of an ACC season when we can't afford the attrition

meh. already complained about this, but it’s not even true as vilain was playing but blaming injuries for 4 consecutive years (or whatever it is) is starting to get past the point of crying wolf. i don’t know enough to know where the issues are, but the excuses are a tough sell at this point.

It's the cut blocking that take out guys knees. It's crappy and dirty. We lost a ton of guys to injuries today to their stupid cut blocking scheme. We don't have to play the service academies, there are plenty of other teams to play.

I can’t tell you how many times per drive there were obvious illegal blocks. One dude roll blocked two of our guys in open field and of course the announcers talked about how great it was. It’s illegal and dirty.

Has the fanbase ever thought that the defense is the problem and we should, perhaps, get a new D coordinator?
 
And I’m not whining our defense sucks ass. Doesn’t change the fact nobody should ever schedule army and they cheap ass shit.
