Roberson is in his 5th year and turns 24 next July - I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if he returns
Yeah in that case - he needs to leave as he had likely 4 years of a career only left.

Roberson is a slot and Greene plays on the outside. Doubt Greene coming back influences Roberson one way or the other.
Do you guys think Roberson has better pro prospects than Dortch or Sage had? If he wants to go let’s be happy for him but let’s not hold the door for him.
Yes. Much better. He’s got great hands, good speed, and is excellent at getting open.
As has been discussed, our offense is rarely in a position to kick 50 yarders like 4th and 5+ from the 35 yard line.
Cool. So my question remains: do we know if has a consistent 45 to 55 leg? If he did, it would follow that there would be times where clawson would opt for the sure three rather than risk going for it on 4th and 5 from the 35. Lack of attempts from distance can also imply lack of confidence.

I think any player with the option to return would be advised to do so. This is a developmental program. Develop. Add to your numbers, your reputation and some post season honors. Win a championship (or two). Finish your post graduate education or add another area of expertise. Unless a professional contract is guaranteed, stay. It's an additional (and likely last) year to play a game you enjoy. The real world and its problems will come soon enough.
Again, Clawson’s offense isn’t really in a position to make that decision.
There was no hesitation sending Sciba out for a 49 yard attempt at Syracuse. He made it with plenty of distance to spare.
Not sure i even follow that answer but you continue to tell me shit i already know. Very useful discussion.
this bsd article from the spring had us at 92 schollies: https://www.bloggersodear.com/2021/2/18/22289059/wake-forest-football-2021-scholarship-chart, and we currently have 12 commits, so we're already 14 above the roster limit. i assume we want to add a few more commits and really want to get a few guys from the portal, so i would guess we need to drop about 20 schollies at the very least.
i'm gonna assume nash will come back and the other eight seniors are out, so twelve more schollies to free up. from the RS-Jr list: Hardmon, Clapp, Monroe and probably Taylor look like guys who will play their masters year somewhere else. and then let's assume roberson and tom go pro. still a lot of work to do. from the rs-soph list, royce francis is really the only guy who doesn't play much. maybe zion keith. also just noticed ken dicks isn't on the roster anymore.
You said, "there would be times where clawson would opt for the sure three rather than risk going for it on 4th and 5 from the 35" so I wasn't sure you knew the offense hasn't been in those situations.
