"inflation"

People who complain the most about inflation would shit their pants if the government actually did something meaningful to cap consumer costs.

The Republicans complaining about gas prices and defacing gas pumps wouldn't say a word if it were a Republican in the White House.

the easiest way to freak out a group of economists is to shout "rent control" in a crowded conference room

look how healthy our domestic oil industry is!

Just more evidence that the notion that the majority of the news media in this country is liberal is nonsense. The Times and other supposedly liberal news outlets have been running poorly-researched articles and features promoting and sympathizing with the views of Trumpites since 2016. And in some cases, such as this one, they don't even mention (or bother to find out) that the person they're interviewing isn't quite on the up and up, or what they appear or claim to be.

The journalists are clearly in on it. They can’t be so stupid to think they’re publishing earnest struggles of the working man when a rich guy complains about $9 burritos.

You have to admit that these burrito prices are getting out of control though.

There are almost two papers when it comes to the Times - one is a legitimately great platform for short and long form journalism; the other is just pure, uncut hegemony

Well put, Strick.

They don’t use the freshest ingredients.

Only pay for what you need…

I mean, fuck a $9 burrito.

IDK. I think you're paying for the engineering. The ratio of filling versus the size and roll-ability of a restaurant burrito (even from a chain) is worth something. The ones I make at home won't hold their shape until the end. Give those people their respect.

“Only pay for what YOU need” does seem to reflect the conservative perspective on government. Not what others may need.

There are other, more reliable ways to provide for one's needs than the government.

That means you are using shit ass tortillas.

Yeah you need the ones that are heavy enough to hold a thick marinara and heavy mozzarella, Ph will hook you up.
