Greenland is pretty empty. Western Australia. Pretty sure all of Israel would fit in Montana or Central Canada.

Lots of places

part of the history of Israel is German Jews trying to get past a British blockade to make it to Palestine

Regarding the school protests, I'm not 100% sure what to think. I think these things (maybe?) are true for the most part:
  • there is a certain portion of protesting students who are earnestly pro-people of Palestine
  • being pro-people of Palestine does not necessarily equal pro-Hamas or anti-Israel
  • this distinction seems to be lost on some, or purposefully conflated by others who are pro-Israel, in order to discredit pro-Palestine aims
  • as is often the case, innocent civilians are collateral damage to shitty evil government on both sides
  • there is a certain portion of protesting students who are just kinda glomming on to the movement to feel part of something, or to 'virtue signal' ; some are just plain clueless
  • there are sometimes some number of agitators who interject themselves into protest situations such as these in order to further their political agendas (and sometimes with nefarious motives)
  • law enforcement/school administrations are walking a tightrope trying to referee all this, with varying levels of success, and are biased by their own motivations

CNN front page has a Columbia student leader getting banned from campus from saying Zionists don't deserve to live.
