It's actually great because I have no interest in returning to LA ever again and I don't have to worry about Schtickland33 coming to Charlotte.

it's a great city to fly into and immediately drive out of, tbf

fortunately, i can get my cranky manlet fix anywhere in the country

LOL at Schtickland. That’s pretty good.

I’m going to see if RiffTannen gets any run here.

LA is a hard place to visit, admittedly, but it's an incredible city. I honestly feel pretty bad for anybody who spends time actively hating LA because of RJ or that time you and your family got stuck in traffic on the Santa Monica pier or Universal City.

It's easily a top-5 US city by any measure, but especially food, nature, and general variation in neighborhood cultures, etc.

I didn't love it at first, but it's a great city. It's just difficult to visit and a lot of the people who live in places that tourists visit are some of the worst humans on Earth.

Nah, it's third world.

yeah p sweet

I skipped the 2017 Rose Bowl and I feel fine. As awful as it was to visit Indianapolis in January, at least I could walk back to my hotel in 10 minutes. Impossible in Pasadena.

LA sucks mostly but West Hollywood and Santa Monica are fun as shit. Last time I was there I was chilling with Sophia Coppola and Jason Schwarzman at Chateau Marmont not sure what anyone was doing in LA proper :noidea:

Any city that is cool enough for Ryan Gosling, is cool enough for me.

It's not a top 5 city in it's own state.

San Diego
San Francisco
Santa Barbara
San Jose
Monterrey

It's a sprawling concrete shithole.

i was gonna respond seriously but since you listed san jose then you have to be trolling lol

Mogadishu is probably not awesome no matter how rich you are.

Probably should have clarified major city as large, reputable, and in a first world country (though I know that rules out lots of other awesome cities for people with $$$)
