2021-22 Men's College Basketball Season - UNC v. Kansas for the Natty

Maybe this is legitimately how it works but I’m surprised we’ve never heard of this rule before.

It's only for the #1 overall seed. They can choose their preferred regional and 1st/2nd round site. If you are #2-68 on the seed list, your request doesn't matter.

Got it. Thanks. Hopefully Duke isn’t going to be the number 1 overall seed.

LSU leading late at Arkansas, 67-63 at the last media timeout

Well, now we can just sit back and enjoy the kaye hype.

We are 30 in kenpom now. Let’s take care of business in our first tourney game and then enjoy the ride

Apparently, Jerry Palm has Wake as first team out coming into tonight. He also has UNC in first 4 out.

With the unbalanced schedule can you really count on your ACC finish?

"Kevin is a friend of mine"

- Forbes

Guess he doesn't hate him after all

Just noticed that UNC against the ACC top 5

@ND L
@ Miami L
@ Wake L
dook L

If some one was looking for a reason to leave UNC out, there it is (assuming the L @dook)

Jerry Palm has everyone out of the tournament. They need to put 68 teams in there, and CBS/TBS needs eyeballs on the games. If Carolina wins a game or 2 in Brooklyn, they are in. No way the ACC lets K lose his last game at Drew's favorite gym. Wake wins one in Brooklyn, and they are safely in. The folks who follow college hoops only 3 weeks of the year would much rather see Wake or Carolina than VCU or Dayton.

Wake's case will be helped if Forbes wins ACC Coach of the year and/or Manman wins ACC player of the year. Good narrative to have "ACC Player of the year vs xxx Conference player of the year."

The Bart Tovik site lets you autosim the conference tournaments and gives you projected bids based on the outcomes. So I ran it one time, and it had us winning the tournament, with wins over both Duke and UNC. Definitely not going to run it again.

@Deac83 - you'll be pleased to know that beating NCSU by 25 (and other results; Marquette losing helped) moved us from #42 to #36 in the Net ratings

Me, two years ago: "I can't believe how much my interest in college basketball has dropped off, I guess just a normal part of getting older, having kids, etc."

Me, now, after refreshing the web page 8 times this morning: "Up to 36 in NET!" LET'S GOOOOOOO

Huge. That puts us above a lot of bubble teams and a few NCAAT non-auto locks - Marquette, Xavier, UNC, TCU, Iowa St, Memphis, VCU, Indiana
