Official 2021-22 NBA Offseason Thread - Warriors extend Poole and Wiggins

The Lakers sporting Jazz throwbacks tonight. :shm

Lebron just hit 50 and he's strutting around the court like he isn't holding a 9 seed together.

#hater playing with bestbrook has got to be such an energy suck (and it’s been showing lately on the court), gotta celebrate rare moments of joy. granted LeGM brought it on himself.

After crowning two NBA Champions in just over a year, the NBA returns to the traditional 82 game schedule for the 2021-22 season. As usual, the new season brings new questions.

Will the experienced Lakers get back to the top of the West?

How long will Klay, Kawhi, and Jamal Murray stay out and how will their returns impact the playoff hunt?

Can Jokic and Embiid continue to revolutionize the center position and stay atop the MVP race?

Will Jabari Parker or Jahlil Okafor find a home?

Will Pop get 26 wins to become the all-time winningest regular-season coach?

Will the Hawks and newly extended Kevin Huerter continue their incredible rise in the East?

Will John Collins make his first All-Star team?

Will the Raptors return to the playoffs without Kyle Lowry?

Will the new-look Bulls get back to the playoffs?

Will Zion get healthy and stay healthy?

Will this rookie class live up to the hype?

Will Kyrie get vaccinated?

Will Luka make the leap and bring the Mavs with him?

Will ESPN put together a decent NBA studio show?

Not sure how many weighed in.

Some quick Spurs donk talk.

I'm kind of torn about the Spurs going forward. I'd like them to keep playing hard and trying to make the play-in because they're probably going to make it without really trying anyway. But I don't give them much of a shot at beating the full squad Lakers. I also think they're in a good draft spot with a decent shot at a top 4 pick or Keegan Murray.

I like that Pop is showcasing Josh Richardson. Richarson + the Lakers 2nd could be enough to trade into the 1st and get a 4th 1st rounder.

Pop got the record and sat Dejounte, Poeltl, and Keldon tonight vs. the Pacers.

That’s a great reference.

I will never fully understand so many decisions made by paid professional referees at any level, ever

I saw the first replay and just assumed it would be a quick review to confirm. I left, came back, and couldn’t believe it.

Jokic vs. Embiid on ESPN. Sixers up 37-22 on the Nuggets to start the 2nd.

Felt like Niang missed about 18 wide open 3s in last 4 minutes. May need to check the stats on that, however.

With the logjam at the top of the East I could see the Sixers finishing anywhere from 1-6. Haven’t compared schedules but don’t love a lot of potential first round matchups. I hope you people are happy.

i didn't watch the game but the +/- on the box score points to Denver's bench beating the piss out of the Sixers bench

Esp with the current 5 seed Celtics running hot right now, it's crazy how bunched together the East is at the top
