Black Mountains are in the Pisgah nation forest slightly northeast of Asheville but nowhere near boone.
So what you're saying is they're not near Cashiers.

There aren't really any 6k peaks in NC that aren't near the Tennessee border are there?
while we're #talkingmountains, anybody done the Timberline Trail loop around Mt. Hood?
mt hood is the one right outside cashiers right?
Is Cincinnati decent?
how far from Cashiers is Ohio
Asheville is cool and has lots of breweries and cool restaurants and the Biltmore, etc... But I am always annoyed when people act like it is a NC mountains town - it is not. It is at like 2000 ft or something and is full of transplanted hippies and foodies and city folk and the like. Don't get me wrong, I like Asheville but just be clear about what it is - a cool town in the foothills that happens to be in NC and that attracts people from all over.
While it’s unclear how the fallout from “The Slap” will permanently affect Smith’s near and long term plans, the agent compared Smith’s situation to that faced by Mel Gibson and Tom Cruise after their reputations were damaged by their own very public outbursts.
“I think he’s not setting up many — if any — projects until the fall. And he just cost himself a premium. His brand is permanently tarnished in regards to (four-quadrant films, which appeal to all audiences),” the agent said. “This just became his Tom Cruise/Mel Gibson moment, where he’s always going to be a star, but he just went from A+ to A and gave people like Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart and Tom Holland a clearer lane.”
Ha, this is a great hot take. It's not a mountain city, sure...
Will Smith was already an A, not an A+. Tom Cruise has a big new Top Gun film coming out. There’s probably other Mission Impossible due soon. Comparing this to Mel Gibson is nuts.
Kevin Hart isn’t taking Will Smith roles.
