this is a cowardly mafia. quiet every round. they let civs pick each other off d1 and d2. not leading shit. no respsect

rommy, vanilla civ, was the single death of night 3. Day 4 ends at 1.
 
Also, that was some pretty exceptional end round play by rommy.
 
6 people left means either 3-2-1 or 4-1-1, depending. Guessing its 4-1-1 at this point.

So rommy claimed SK, but isn't SK and the SK didn't hit last night? Or did the SK and mafia double tap rom? I could see that happening.

It's pretty obvious that mafia would benefit if SK were gone. Not sure there is any logic where killing a fake SK benefits the real SK.
 
Is there a scenario where we don't kill Tim this round?

I think it has to be unless we have a VV in there, but again, no one claimed RB. A civ Vig would then either have not shot or double tapped a mafia or SK kill. It's POSSIBLE a mafia RB hasn't elected to use it, or they are also doubletapping.

Like 98% it's MCTTTTT, but to Blue's point, why would real SK kill Rommy. OR Mafia RB'd SK last night?
 
But if SK got Roleblocked last night, then Mafia has identified them.

So, the genius behind the move was that both sides likely killed him thinking they were the other. Real SK kills him thinking he is mafia, mafia kills him thinking he is SK.

Super giant balls to play that.
 
mako: could be SK/mafia, likely is not for aforementioned reasons
tim: could be SK/maf, his rommy stuff doesn't hold nearly as much water as I thought it did
Da: could be maf, nothing to go on, 99.999999% isn't SK
tic: could be SK/maf, want to read back to get a better vibe but he was my one actual civ lean prior to the end of that round
blue: could be SK/maf, also need to re-read because that rommy vote at the end there does not look good in retrospect

I'm leaning tim today, but might come all the way back around on blue. Will see what I can do in the next couple hours, just finished up and have to drive in to work now so I'll be AFK

True. But wouldn't mafia want to keep around a SK since it benefits them knowing who it is and also he can take out more civs?

At 5-1-1, there is at least a thought by mafia to not kill him, but you likely still take that shot. At 4-2-1, they kill him 100% of the time.

Speculation either way, no use talking about it for now.
