mako's wife: tell your imaginary friends...
also mako's wife: if one of your imaginary friends talks shit about my imaginary musical world I'll kill them

She's a complicated person and she has anger issues.

My wife: you’ve been in the bathroom for a long time, the children are worried

the fresh hops were just delivered for Celebration Ale. it's a glorious morning.

I don't have a WaPo subscription but if you're posting an editorial she's probably gonna send you a copy of her basic soph lesson on validity of sources.

But hey, man, your beef is with her, not me.
Can't argue with people who take Ron Chernow seriously as a historian. I am really excited for Chernow's next book where he tells us that Bernie Madoff was just misunderstood.

Are Flight of the Conchords episodes considered musicals? If so, I like musicals.

I offer this as a classic but often over looked musical.

See that within song character development and story arch advancement?

I pulled up this episode on paramount plus the other day just to watch this sketch. One of the best things The State ever did.

One of her primary counters was that regardless of the occasional historical inconsistency found in the musical, the engagement and interest that it generated in her students and the motivation that they had to learn more about the time period and subject material far outweighed the damage done by an overly flattering portrayal of Hamilton.

That and the fact that Hamilton was apparently and unarguable genius that basically laid the groundwork for our entire economy and was so well-rounded that he came up with a naval code that was still being used at the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis.

The state did so many hilarious things. I was looking for the Jurassic Park One Man Musical sketch, but found this one instead.

Also worth considering Miranda’s shit-tactic policy preferences for Puerto Rico

And he got shot because he was telling people that Burr slept with his own daughter.

It is amazing (to me, at least) how many cast members from The State have had long (and ongoing) careers, yet none of them ever really broke out.
