Official 2022 College Football Thread: Georgia is Back to Back Champions !!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The media loves to hype a Cuse QB. Remember a few years ago when people thought Cuse was the new class of the ACC, which lasted for approximately half a season?

Yup.

Dino Babers went from a football genius to a terrible coach in near-record time.

Didn't notice until just now that the VT kickoff tomorrow is at 11am ET... I guess because it is on ACC Network and they are doing some 11am starts this year for TV scheduling purposes.

That blows. Hope we don't end up with any of those.

Yeah and our game is at 5 on ACCN, also a weird time. The TAMU/Miami game is at 9 on ESPN..isn't that a weird time or am I just being forgetful? I thought the ESPN primetimes were at like 7/730.

Anthony Richardson so far this year has 2 tackles and 0 touchdown passes.

South Carolina/Georgia kickoff delayed to 12:12 tomorrow so ESPN can show the 2001 Space Odyssey Gamecock entrance.

pretty obvious why that stupid school was too scared to play us. and that was WITH our shitty defense!

This letter Clawson wrote is making the rounds:

While it’s a great show by our coach, all I can see is that he misspelled “Syracuse.”

Several years ago when I lost some memorabilia i a flood, word got back to the athletic department somehow and shortly thereafter I received a package from coach with a very nice letter, a signed football and some other stuff. I'm not even sure I was a deacon club member at the time. Class act.

For Arch Manning's official visit to Texas, along with 8 other recruits.
According to receipts and expense invoices obtained by The Athletic via open records requests, Texas spent nearly $280,000 for the mid-June weekend.
I would be curious to know what Wake's recruiting budget is by comparison.

Texas' one steak must be a huge steak.

Pilch - You on Louisville tonight? I'm tempted.

Think that I am passing. Would lean L'ville. Like the under 57 the most (L'ville's defense was impressive against UCF, and FSU D looks solid too), but the line is moving the other way; so, I am missing something.

I'm on:

Tulane +14
Liberty +16.5
UNLV -2.5
ODU/UVA U53.5
UGA -24
Cuse -1
Fresno +12

Also, if you can get a line on it, LOVE Missouri State (and Bobby Petrino) heading to Arkansas getting 25.

BTW, the ultimate movable object versus the resistible force game Nevada @ Iowa (-24). Iowa has scored a TOTAL of 14 points this season in two games. So, the questions is HOW could the Hawkeyes, be giving 24? Nevada gave up 55 to a school named Incarnate Word last week. Games like this are crazy fascinating. Probably will take the Hawkeyes.

I don't know much about Missouri State, but Arkansas is gooooood. It's also Family Weekend in Fayetteville which seems appropriate for Petrino.

I like Arkansas to make noise this year, but this is an epic scheduling spot. Razorbacks schedule

Cincy
S. Carolina

Missouri State

A&M (at Jerry World)
Bama
Miss State
BYU

Just screams flat spot for the Razorbacks. Also, Missouri State is a good FCS Team (#5), and they can air it out. Petrino has a ton of FBS transfers, their QB is Utah transfer Jason Shelley. Arkansas secondary is banged up, their best DB Jalen Catalon is done for the season. Always risky to take a team that is inferior on the lines, and Mo. State is at huge disadvantage there, but I will take the points, and think/hope that Arkansas is looking ahead to the huge SEC games on the horizon.
