"Bureaucratic" is a word that I can never ever spell. Most of the time I can't even get close enough for spell checker to recognize it and get me the right answer.

If there are plenty of seats available and you're open to just sitting anywhere in the uppers, you may be fine just buying at the box office and avoiding fees.

This is a pretty insane conference time of the year. There are about 6 conferences I could or have gone to before in this two weeks before Thanksgiving week.
 
Thinking of joining my wife on a work trip to London in May - would be staying at the Heathrow Airport Raddison. I have never been to England before. Would it be super difficult/expensive to travel in and out of the city back to the airport every day?

If you're asking me, no. I'm not at any conferences right now, but I have FOMO. I need to get back in the conference travel flow.

No it wouldn't be bad, you should do it. You can take the underground or the express for more money. Underground would be about an hour, the express would be about half that.

I don't think so. You can ride the tube from Heathrow straight into the city. It's like 20 stops and take 40 minutes but it's easy and not too expensive.
