MBB Game 15: @ UNC-ch - Wednesday 9pm- ACCN

I noticed this last year with Alondes too, but our offense overloads the defense on one side and throws the cross court pass to the open shooter

but when teams wise up to it and sit back, the pass isn't there and we still throw it to give up a good number of turnovers

Lol he had 16-9-5 tonight and was our leading rebounder. What else do you want to hear?

Did you even watch the game?
I did. I saw people quote his stat line repeatedly also. I still thought he looked awful. Couldn’t guard his man, unathletic and didn’t play smart basketball.

Hildreth 2 points. He’s totally without talent on the offensive end. Davien can’t handle the ball or guard anybody. Just a spot up shooter from the corner. Outside of Appleby we have no guards. And yet Forbes sits Monsanto for a turnover when he has scored 3 straight possessions.

carr is a decent player. i think he can be a 5th starter on a good team.

players don’t have to either be elite or awful an unplayable — most are somewhere in between (which usually means they have some good games and some poor games).

Damnit, drew the good UNC for the 2nd half. When they run the offense through Baycot and start hitting a bunch of 3's, they're damn good. Needed to take advantage of when they were bad in the first half, but only could manage a one point lead.

Lame, but predictable. Need to win the next 3 then equal the score with Clemson.

Every dribble Carr takes is a detriment to our chances

I thought he had a really bad 1st half but played much better in the 2nd half
He played better in the second half. Maybe I’m being too hard on him but was frustrating to watch tonight.

9-15 on layups
13-20 from the line

That's a lot of points.

We don’t have a single “athlete” on this team besides Appleby and maybe Bobi, but he’s far too raw to be effective. And, unfortunately, we don’t play fundamentally sound enough to overcome lack of athleticism.
