It’s a great ridemy daughter’s favorite ride at MK was the People Mover
We get stuck at least 50% of the time. In fact, we've been escorted off of the broken down ride more than once. When they turn all the lights on, you realize just how infrequently they bother to clean anything outside of the cars. Same story with Test Track. It's like, run a vacuum back there every now and then.We were stuck in Spaceship Earth for 15 minutes before. I didn’t notice because I always take an alcohol assisted nap on it.
After watching Disney Dan do a park open to close (or whenever he hit the "record" for most rides in a day) gave me a new appreciation for it. I don't think I've been on since, but every time we walk by I think I should go ride it for an hour or two to relax.my daughter’s favorite ride at MK was the People Mover

What song did you get? Is it still running the Christmas overlay?Test Track is really showing it’s age even though the new Test Track isn’t even 11 years old.
We rode Cosmic Rewind twice today. It’s a good ride. The next iteration of Space Mountain and Rockin Rollercoaster. Not sure if it’s my favorite coaster at Disney though.
Soarin' is lifeless CGI. Frozen was a disappointment too. Flight of Passage and Na'vi River Journey are better versions of both and opened not too long after them.
This take is correct.I feel like Soarin’ OG was actual aerial footage vs CGI?
I dunno, just a collection of weird vignettes?Soarin’ is definitely the best Disney ride. But Frozen is lifeless? What?
Bring back the Maelstrom!!!I dunno, just a collection of weird vignettes?
Especially compared to the original Norway ride.
Let's unpack this a little bit because both Soarins were my favorite rides. What "story" was told in the first Soarin? Maybe I just didn't pay enough attention but to me it's always been the experience of hang gliding over incredible places. The ride needed a facelift especially in the era of HD and 4k and I love how they expanded it to sites around the world."Collection of weird vignettes" describes Soarin' and Frozen. Both rides used to tell a cohesive story about a real place.
