George Santos question

Every Republican who was elected (and wasn't) lied during their campaigns, whether it was about CRT, COVID, inflation, abortion, crime, their resume, etc. Throw them all the fuck out if we're throwing Santos out. He's no worse than any of them.
Pops shrugs. “As long as it’s not Trump.”

The Nassau County GOP - which makes up most of the district Santos represents - has called on him to resign, as has the New York State GOP Chairman. But he's not going anywhere, as he's supported by Speaker McCarthy and Santos himself says he won't quit. Now that the media is finally focusing on him they're finding more lies he's told almost every day. He's apparently claimed that he was one of the first people in New York to get and survive covid, yet his timeline and descriptions of when he got covid, was tested, and how severe his symptoms were has kept changing over time. What a loon.

if you type in "Baruch college" to google the first autocomplete is "volleyball"

I'm rooting for him at this point. What other fun stories are going to come out? "George Santos once claimed in a job interview that he assassinated Franz Ferdinand"

Throw his lying, cheating ass out. What's the hold up?

According to this site, only five members of the House have ever been stripped of their office by the House. Three of those were for fighting for the Confederacy and the other two were convicted of bribery.

Obviously, Santos' behavior doesn't fit neatly into those categories, so far as we know right now. But there are a lot of questions that need to be answered, especially with regard to who was funding his campaign and who his business associates were prior to running for office.
