Probably time for Leonard Hamilton to call it pretty soon. Great coach but kind of like Brey he’s been there forever and at 74 gonna be tough to turn it around. Have any names been thrown around for when that time comes?

Probably one of FSU's current freshman. They need to get them now before they get hired by someone else. They might need to look to their current recruiting class.

I'm taking Quinnipiac +7.5 and ML today vs Iona. I feel so confident about it is concerning. Quinnipiac beat Iona by 23 on January 8. Iona is banged up, Pitino has one foot out of the door (relegates assistants to take press conferences), and everyone in the MAAC wants a shot at Iona.

Iona's hasn't come close to covering lately, yet have barely dropped in the metrics. Here's Iona's last 5 games:

1/8/2023: Iona (-6) @ Quinnipiac ---> Quinnipiac 81, Iona 58
1/13/2023: Iona (-16.5) vs Fairfield ---> Iona 75, Fairfield 69

1/27/2023: Iona (-7.5) @ Siena ---> Siena 70, Iona 53

Iona and Pitino are an auto-fade until I see otherwise.

Gaels are back in action tonight hosting Mount St. Mary's. A little concerned about Mount St. Mary's (+15) because I've watched them and they are #notgood. But I'll continue to test the thesis. No ML today.

Keep bringing the MAAC breakdowns. Best way to beat the books is to focus on a smaller conference and find edges.
 
While skimming today's action, I noticed Jackson State has played 22 games this year and only 4 of them have been at home. Santa Clara has played 24 games and only 5 of them have been true road games.

I've been to Santa Clara and Jackson, MS, and can confirm that I would rather visit Santa Clara
 
It kind of sucks that Duke/UNC is so overhyped and yet is almost always a close game with exciting finishes.
 
3 free throw attempts for UNC with a minute to play in Cameron? Seems legit.
 
UNC has gone from preseason #1 to a genuine bubble team. Has any #1 preseason pick not at least made the NCAA tournament?
