ND has Sam's successor lined up. The have a verbal from 2024 QB C.J.Carr, who is rated #40 player in the nation.
If my interest in the ND QB situation were a temperature, it would be -1°KND has Sam's successor lined up. The have a verbal from 2024 QB C.J.Carr, who is rated #40 player in the nation.
That's right up there with a single blade of grass being higher than the others in my lawn of things I least give a shit about.ND has Sam's successor lined up. The have a verbal from 2024 QB C.J.Carr, who is rated #40 player in the nation.
My sentiments exactly. That's right up there with a single blade of grass being higher than the others in my lawn of things I least give a shit about.
Semi-noteworthy I guess if ND is on our schedule in the next year or two.ND has Sam's successor lined up. The have a verbal from 2024 QB C.J.Carr, who is rated #40 player in the nation.
I think he’ll add in a few fumbles just to round it all out. Complete implosion. We have seen the last 5 years that Sam performs terribly in emotional games, outside of his performance against Clemson in his second senior year. In his third senior year next year, I don't expect anything different. It will be weird to play a dude in his mid 20s, but I think we'll beat him and he'll throw his usual multiple picks in a big game.
Big difference between interest in Sam Hartman as the quarterback at Notre Dame and the current high school senior who will replace himWell, we care enough to open this thread, read about it, and post. So more than -1.
I am quite curious/interested to see how Sam performs. Do I think it was shitty that he left for a team we are playing next year? Yes. Absolutely.

I think that he will have a bad game against us, but somehow we will still find a way to lose. We just can't beat Notre Dame or Clemson. We have seen the last 5 years that Sam performs terribly in emotional games, outside of his performance against Clemson in his second senior year. Chris Weinke would have blown your mind.We have seen the last 5 years that Sam performs terribly in emotional games, outside of his performance against Clemson in his second senior year. I don't care either but no way I'm rooting for him at ND.Y'all are some cold motherfuckers.
Sam was a fucking stud for us. It was time for him to move on from a roster standpoint. It sucks he went to a school that's on our schedule, but honestly IDGAF. I'm rooting for him wherever he goes.
I hope that he has a great individual season. But I don't care how ND does.I don't care either but no way I'm rooting for him at ND.
I mean, a big part of college sports vs pros is seeing guys develop, caring about them off the field and having a personal connection to them. That doesn't just disappear when they graduate. Sam didn't leave on bad terms, he gave us five years. It was time to move on from his side and the team's side.I don't care either but no way I'm rooting for him at ND.
It was time to him to move on, I just think it's wimpy to take a bribe from a school we're playing (and in the process steal a scholarship from an actual college aged football player) instead of moving on to the pros and trying your luck.Y'all are some cold motherfuckers.

I mean we are talking about an adult who is going to play for a particularly odious program who we will play this year because he's going to make some $$$.I mean, a big part of college sports vs pros is seeing guys develop, caring about them off the field and having a personal connection to them. I just can't imagine being like "nah, fuck that guy that I saw develop from a skinny 18 year old freshman to a 23 year old record setting QB. I don't give a shit about what he does now that he's not on our roster anymore"
So what do you think about Luke Masterson playing for the Raiders? Or Jessie Bates playing for the Bengals? Some pretty toxic organizations there.I mean we are talking about an adult who is going to play for a particularly odious program who we will play this year because he's going to make some $$$. I am appreciative of what he did at Wake and don't blame him for doing what he needs to do. He had an opportunity for some opportunities and is excited about the opportunity to have more opportunities.
I appreciate what he's done at Wake and don't blame him for making a personal/business decision that is in his best interest. I will continue to hope Notre Dame never wins another football game.
