2023 Masters Thread

Brooks did enough to meltdown on his own, but I would be apoplectic if I was barfing away the Masters AND I was stuck behind Cantlay AimPointing a 20 min three jack.
 
It's just not fair to the guys behind him. It's a competitive advantage for him. Wish we could find a way to actually enforce the damn rules
 
PGA Tour's next anti-LIV move should be fixing slow play. Just look at how awesome early baseball games have been. Put in a shot timer with common sense exceptions and penalties. Really not that difficult, and all you have to do is save 2 or so minutes each hole to make a dramatic difference in how slow golf seems on TV.

Also dumped every free bet thrown my way on Rahm to win the Masters for the last couple months so please close this out!
 
I’m watching this en espanol and don’t know what happened to Rahm’s tee shot. I saw the provisional. Did they find the original tee shot in the fairway all of the sudden ? Help please.
 
Starting the last round down 2, I doubt Rahm thought he could shoot 69 and win by 4....

Yea, it apparently hit a tree. He just didn't know where it went so hit a provisional just in case...
 
Okay. That makes sense. I couldn’t tell if he just miraculously found it in the middle of the fairway or punched out

La primera bola estaba al frente de la calle. Mucha suerte para Rahm.
 
Seems like Rahm has learned to manage his temper much better in the last 2-3 years. IMHO, he always had the physical skills but seemed to let the six inches between his ears get in the way.

.... and the the wife ain't hard on the eyes either!
 
do you think the announcers get fined if they slip up and call the patrons fans or spectators?
 
Mickelson looked pretty good in the last round for a 53 year old.

Gary McCord didn't call a Masters for the past 20 years for something similar. I think it was ridiculous and can't recall the specifics.

it almost looked like it went into the adjacent hole and he played it up the fairway on that hole but looks like the drive ended up only traveling 150 yards or so after the tree hit

Yesterday right before play was suspended we watched some issue with him wanting the greens squeegee’d before his putt. Can’t find anything about it now but looks like there was a disagreement as to whether he was entitled to it.
 
McCord said they dont mow the greens at Augusta they “bikini wax” them. I think he had another “gaff” about players leaving in body bags and mentioned a ball going into the cheap seats. He should have been put to death for all that
