2023 Carolina Panthers thread - HOF Julius Peppers

Was curious so I checked. tOSU has 11 more players in the NFL than UGA, and their players are making a combined $300M more. Lotta busts/bums.

Who are the best Ohio State players in the league right now?

Nick Bosa probably

Just off the top of my head though there’s the Bosas, Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave, JK Dobbins, Zeke Elliott, Justin Fields and probably a lot of defensive players I’m missing

They had the OROTY last year (Wilson) and the DROTY in ‘17, ‘19, ‘20 (Lattimore, Bosa, Young). Other Bosa, Hubbard, McLaurin, Cam Heyward pretty high up there.

Dobbins, Zeke, Olave, Denzel Ward, and many others are solid.

I mean this thread can’t simultaneously argue that superior Ohio State players prop up their QB prospects and that the non-QB Ohio State players are bad football players/NFL busts.

Gotta pick one

the panthers very own Vonn Bell went to osu

former panthers norwell and elflein

Chris Gamble is my guy. Maybe the most impressive single season I've seen from a college player in 2002 when he was playing both ways and returning kicks. Crazy stuff.

One of my favorite memories with my dad was we were at espn zone in Baltimore for some orioles games (he was a Yankees fan and I’ve always been an Os fan) while Kiper was doing his show. I got to go in during a commercial break and talk to Kiper. We talked about Gamble, who the panthers had just picked. My dad tried to get me to tell Mel that the club sandwich was a reach, he thought it was hilarious, and I politely declined.

We lived through the pandemic, and then came the bamboozling just behind it. It's been an odd few years......
