I think I interviewed at 30+ places before finally getting an offer. I don’t think I’ve ever been so stressed in life.
 
At this point if I click on the link and they use Workday to make me apply, I just don't apply. It's not worth the trouble. Only fill in the blanks that are required, everything else skip. No job application should take more than 2 minutes.

I've technically been without long term employment for 5 months now, which is not a ton of fun, though still better than working for people I despise.

@mako1331 are you there as a patron or as a purveyor of grilled cheeses?

Are caps on liability the new fad? Stay tuned to find out at 6.
 
My thesis is that people who drive Dodge Chargers are categorically the most dangerous and obnoxious drivers on the road. I would be willing to listen to arguments for giant pickup truck drivers or Nissan Altima drivers though.

It is the van. Poor sightlines, often filled with sugared-up kids screaming at mom or dad over the maxed-out volume of their iPads and a driver that is going on too little sleep.
 
i don't really understand what is wrong with the old method of just emailing a resume and cover letter

we have paylocity and i just skip all the inputs from the paylocity platform when i'm reviewing and only look at resume and cover letter anyways

Take that back I drive an Altima and I’m a good driver
 
I feel your Workday application entry pain.

None of my good leads have come from applying via Workday.
 
Yeah when I've hired folks the only thing I ever look at is the resume and then maybe a cursory Google or internet search. I just want to determine if they seem like a normal person and worth calling for an initial chat.
