chat thread: some fresher, newer vibes

More musicals should be made into movies. Mama Mia, Les Mis, Chicago, the Sound of Music, all classics. I don't think we as a country need a new super hero movie every 3 months, what we need are more big budget musical films

Are you telling me a film version of Hamilton wouldn't be the tentpole film of the summer?

Musicals by nature are elitist. They are found mainly in cities, they are expensive and they tend to be at times that are not convenient for working parents. More musicals as movies would help bring culture to people who wouldn't normally get a chance.

For every $300 million a studio does for a transformers movie or a fast and furious or a Super wonder twins movie, they should also have to spend $100 million on turning a classic musical into a movie.
 
I am bemused by the folks who only show up on game threads when there is something negative to post. There are a handful that, regardless of the sport, I can count on seeing their username pop up when things aren't going perfectly. If these people truly get off on the misery that comes with having their hopes dashed, why aren't they NC State fans instead?

Nor was Cats nor was Into the Woods nor Westside Story, but if you made a VI movie with a big budget and get some big name female leads, it would break records.

No one is making Tommy White go out on the field and project the persona he does with his trash talking, shitty mullet, and gold chains. He's not the victim you keep making him out to be. That's not even getting in to who has chosen to ink NIL deals with (Barstool) and the ways those associations might reflect back on him.

I don't get mad when people talk shit about Cole Roland because I legitimately love him for how absolutely unhinged he is. Would hate him and talk mad shit if he didn't play for us though.

I called ballgame after the homer mostly because I had in my mind that 5 runs won the game with the way things have played. That said, we had plenty of opportunities down the stretch.

hmmm…my favorite is Jessica Richburg but she’s pretty hot too. Pretty sure she went to App State.

Yoga with Tim and the Rodney Yee power yoga videos are ones by dudes that I know people like, but can’t speak to them personally.
