lol it looks like I just quoted a FootballScoops article. Probs not elite journalism by me - I don't remember writing that at all though, and if you'd asked me without that article linked, I would have told you I've never heard of the guy.

By three, mostly owed to a defensive meltdown. If I remember right that field goal was also last minute. 7 times out of 10 we win that game. Duke's Monday performance was on Clemson Clemsoning. Chambers High School could've beat Clemson if they played like that. They're a good squad, don't get me wrong, but better than us? I don't know

Yeah last year was a toss up. Wake post game win expectancy was 55%. It happens though. It’s only a win if you win!
 
If Wake and Duke played this week on a neutral field the line wouldn’t open more than -3 either direction. Duke may end up being better over the course of the year (and has what appears to be a good win to start the season) but the teams are largely projected to be in the same range
