I just got home to drop the kids off before my soccer game and I was really excited to tell my wife that the marines were at school today and they held a pull-up contest and I did the most pull-ups of anyone at the school so I told her exactly like that and she asked me if I was six years old.
Real pull ups or those ridiculous cross fit pull ups where you swing your body back and forth like a drunken idiot trying the high beam in gymnastics?

Kipping pull ups as an exercise is ridiculous. Kipping pull ups as a mechanism to accrue a lot of reps in a competition style setting makes a ton of sense. My experience is that crossfit sucks at explaining the purpose of kipping pull ups and over-emphasizes them at the expense of helping people actually build real pull up strength.

Just discovered this YouTube channel where a professional drummer listens to drum-less tracks for songs she’s has never heard before and then creates her own drum track on the spot. That’s an amazing talent.

That's good, but the dude who listens to a song he's never heard before and duplicates the drums seems more impressive.

But I don't believe this dude has never heard Enter Sandman before. Seems impossible.

I love this stuff. It just always reminds me that it's not just blanket creativity, there is some common themes to all types of music...that's what they rely on for this
