Sheep Week 8: Answers due Friday at 12

I play a lot of Pokemon, have since I was a kid and still do today (shocking no one). Rayquaza is not unpopular, but easily a low-tier recognizable Pokemon. It was the cover character for Pokemon Emerald, but that released almost two decades ago now. Still to this day the most recognizable and popular Pokemon are from Gen 1 or Gen 2.

I have no idea who Rayquaza is and thought it was made up until I googled it. I haven’t played a pokemon game since snap.

windy I don't know what your google algorithm is targeting you with but I also googled "most popular pokemon" and it was pikachu 1 and charizard 2

I don’t like talking groupings because it’s subjective and hard. I left “cards” separate rather than grouping them with either of the other cards that were called out, but did group together baseball cards with “sports cards” and Pokémon with Pokémon cards. I won’t get into too much of my logic there except to say it is important to be specific. There are lots of types of cards, which might make it a bad question, but I try and be consistent with my rules.
Yeah, well there are a lot of coins too!
Coins are pretty much all just money of different countries/societies.

Cards can range from casino cards, to birthday cards, to postcards, to sports cards to games like Pokemon/Magic etc

I only recognize (by which I mean only consider canonical) Gen 1.
