Clawson had a bad night and this season has sucked but to call for firing him is some of the dumbest shit you’re gonna see on these here message boards
Shame on Clawson for throwing that interception with 3 minutes to go. Inexcusable !

the fumble at midfield was not a horrid TO in my opinion, dude was putting his body on the line trying to pick up a big first down, I'm sure any one calling that a bad TO was also pretty happy when he did the exact same fucking thing to get a TD earlier in the game

the throw/fumble thing was just a shitty fluke thing, its not exactly Mooch throwing one into double coverage for a pick

It's always the same reactionary troglodytes that cry "Clawson Out!" every time we so much as punt, but I am still struggling to process what I just witnessed. I mean, damn.
yeah it sucks, but Jones single-handedly just lost us that game, not Mitch

terrible PI (duke player floppppped big time on it but still can't give him that chance) and then the personal foul too, smh

I mean, he’s had 1 winning record in Acc play in 10 years. That seems ungood. Maybe some of it is understandable.

Every time we had a chance to not make a stupid play, we just said "nah, let's dumb this shit up".

Clawson hate is definitely the Griffis thing, even if he is the best option this bullshit about looking amazing in practice and Clawson has never had more confidence in a quarterback going into a season is completely and utter bullshit. To make it even more traumatic it’s being fed to a fanbase that heard all the same shit and worse lies for a decade in basketball. So I can definitely see how it’s all very triggering.

OFC the year we have a down year is the first year we're not in the ridiculous atlantic (with dynasty-level Clemson) vs coastal tho

his first 3-4 years were total rebuild so also don't count those against him

winning here is not easy, even moreso now in the NIL era, he needs a bit to adjust to that (if we can find the $$$$), but that dude is more competitive and cares more about winning as much as any of us so he's stilly far and away our best shot at a program of relevance

i mean i don't know how you could have watched the game tonight and thought Mitch didn't look like a much different (better) QB than earlier games, bullshit revisionist history not to acknowledge he did a lot better than anyone expected against one of the tougher defenses in the ACC (see: Sam Hartman against them last year)

This is all probably true, and I don’t think that it’s unrealistic to say he’s probably the best coach we can get, but we’ve also taken a pretty big step back in year 10 and last year wasn’t that amazing either so I can understand the frustration of a lot of people.

don’t remind me of this I still can’t believe I spent money to watch that debacle in person

It’s also annoying we have a decent defense the first year our offense is horrible in forever

If you trust your QB, you allow him to throw in the red zone. You have more than 7 pass attempts in the 2nd half. You don’t have as many attempts as the true freshman QB starting his first game. Mitch played the best game he has against a conference opponent, yet the staff still didn’t trust him to win the game and he was still a liability.

I just don’t know why some of you simp so hard for the status quo when you just watched the same thing we all just witnessed.
