Also with our recent apartment move, I am no longer closer to Northeastern than any other university. I believe the proximity rankings are now: BU, BC, Northeastern. We live like .3 of a mile from BU's basketball/hockey arena

The NEC is an absolute JOKE of a conference though.

I pretty much never invest in individual stocks because we have such strict requirements around it and a million hoops to jump through. A lot of times I’m kind of happy they are saving me from myself.

I love this idea. HOWEVA, my kiddo has hockey every Saturday between now and the end of February. I wonder if there is a terrible conference tourney in the area worth hitting up late in the season. Hmm.

Let me do some research. Feels like most of the shitty conferences in the area (read all of them) play on campus sites for the bulk of the tourney.

NEC, Patriots League, and America East all have Campus Site tournaments. That's the most promising. Maybe Maine will be good and we can get OUR BLACK BEARS into the NCAAT for the first time ever.
