or if it is too much water too fast your brain could swell and you just... die

Yeah if you take the fact you can die from water toxicity from consuming to much of the most inert substance there is, then too much of anything is going to be harmful.

Nutritional science is pretty meh, but if you consume too much necessary of X for too long the end result will be something and it won’t just be gains! To deny that just puts you in the preconceived cult like thinking that Mako was adhering too/mocking.

Sure, but that doesn't mean you can't debate the acceptable range of X.

My contention is that the ideal range of protein intake is (significantly) higher than what you'd get with a traditional diet. And if you are exercising consistently and using a progressive overload approach, you are gonna need more protein to get your body to react to that work.

And, obviously, my nutritional needs at 205lbs are vastly different than my wife's at 115lbs.

Yeah those chodes carrying around gallon water jugs aren’t just for show
I carry a gallon water bottle

I'll take an elevated risk of kidney stones in exchange for aging more slowly and looking like a greek god.
Of course

eta: nvm, read more of windy's example and my answer doesn't fit. Doesn't seem like she's dealing with emotions, she just doesn't know how to work with other people and it's a conversation about proper role and proper channels and if there is no improvement, she needs to find something else.

It seems you are having to invest a lot of time/energy/thought into this one employee. What does she bring to the position besides not having to find someone else?
Not much. 30 day observation is she is a negative WAR player. Which is why I'm starting a pre-PMP journal.

Also lesson learned this morning, chocolate protein powder in coffee=delicious/vanilla protein powder in coffee=chemical fire
Ascent Protein makes some coffee flavors that are great. They've done a good cappucino in the past and right now they've got Mocha Cold Brew which is also very good.

We’ve shifted away from our Greece honeymoon to a 5 night stay at an all inclusive + 4 nights on the Carolina or Georgia coast. Any recs on all inclusive or great coastal towns? We want to do the coastal stay somewhere neither of us have been so it might be hard to find one that works.

Juice just begging for me to fire off a shirtless pic this morning.

And now, after pontificating about protein intake, I'm going to consume my lunch of reheated McDonald's nuggets and fries that my kids didn't finish yesterday.

But then I'm gonna lift and have a protein shake.

alls i'm saying is that that protein coffee can probably just be a regular coffee when you've already had your protein shake, your tuna fish, and you've got chicken breast coming up for dinner and i'm pretty confident you won't miss out on any muscle massing

I agree with this. Normal day to day protein consumption is probably on the lower end of the acceptable range given the US diet.

Saw your wife posted one on IG the other day, so I know you have a recent one handy.

Not at all related: We must be in a loading phase given we're approaching winter, with cutting happening sometime around March. Followed, of course, by your May post about thinning hair.

Is that prehistoric diet still a thing where you only consume meat intermittently as well as bleed yourself to simulate hunting wounds? If so Mako should try it.
