Interviewing a candidate for a position in my office this afternoon. Any other "must ask" questions beyond these?

  • Any plans to get knocked up anytime soon?
  • What religion are you?
  • Tell me how you feel about minorities - please be specific about which ones are good and which ones you hate.
  • Is this how you usually dress?
  • What's up with your face?
Are these also the questions you use when interviewing potential boyfriends for your daughter?

What would cause you to cry at work?

Just because we're in Vermont, we're not one of those woke companies. You got a problem with that?

I think I mentioned this but when I interviewed with my current boss he managed to hit the trifecta of asking me: political affiliation, marital status, and whether or not we had kids/planned to have kids - all within the first 5-10 minutes of my being there

This was in the course of casual conversation and he was absolutely not thinking about it in terms of inappropriate employer questions. I have since taken over several aspects of any necessary HR we have here

Thought it was Rick Scott at first. Anyone know this guy?

Syd and I were classmates and we had a couple Latin classes together. Would mingle socially on campus. Bill Ard was a friend, too. I also knew Jay Venuto pretty well as I tutored him (and other athletes) in Latin. Three first class gentlemen right there.

Ambulance costs can be ridiculous. I got whammo'ed pretty hard (well, my parents, but I knew and heard about it) when I dislocated my knee on campus Junior year and the ambulance ride was out of network. Shit stuck with me so hard that when an ambulance came to pick me up after drowning my first interrogation was about how much it would cost (also I felt fine and thought they were making up secondary drowning). I only agreed to go to the hospital with them once they made it clear they were a volunteer ambulance and insurance wouldn't be charged at all.
As the guy that rode along in the ambulance with you (the knee incident), I can confirm that you were in a great deal of pain at the time.

I arrived a day late to the drowning situation, and you seemed mostly revitalized by then.

most boring POY ever?
nah, it was this

boom, roasted.

I had to pick up some groceries over lunchtime, so I got some orange chicken and fried rice from the Asian bar at Harris Teeter. I am sure I will not come to regret this in four hours.

@Wakeforest22890 how does the quad system account for the improvement of a team - in the face of early season losses - from injuries or NCAA waiver issues

kind of weird that we played those games without two very good players, yet they're supposed to reflect the ability of a team come March
They don't that's why the committee is there to parse through the data. Whether or not they do a sufficient job of that....I mean they probably don't lol

I think we’re leaning towards Excellence Playa Mujeres. Besides being hot, anything wrong with Cancun in July?

We did the excellence resort for our honeymoon and it was awesome. It was the one about 30 minutes south of Cancun.
