2023 College Football Coaching Carousel

Florida has a decent chance of being open after next season, once things spiral out of control under Napier with this schedule:

Let’s not forget that aside from about a 10-15 year stretch or so, Florida’s football history is quite pedestrian.

Florida, Miami, and FSU have all had a reckoning in last 10 years that Florida kids aren't as loyal to their in-state programs as they once were. FSU seems to have figured out the Transfer Portal/NIL game- don't know think about the other 2.

And it remains to be seen how UCF moving to the Big XII impacts the Big 3 programs. I'm not sure how much those programs recruit out of the Orlando area.

I think they're more of a program to examine in 10-20 years if they can have prolonged success in what is somewhere between a G5 and P5 league. They were smart to invest in football infrastructure before USF did, and they have a huge alumni base which doesn't really matter right now, but will down the road, particularly if NIL remains the wild west.

What if he's taking a leak at the urinal and she forgot to knock and say "housekeeping" or he innocently just didn't hear her knock and he's standing there with his junk out simply going to the bathroom when she walks in?

Not defending or accusing him but this screams for more details.

There are details in the story that you apparently didn't read.

I'm sitting in an airport with horrible connectivity so I'll read later. Finally got the article to come up but it's behind a pay-wall. Oh well. Hope he's innocent.

Yeah I consider UCF more of a program that already gets the second tier Florida guys- same bucket as Wake typically. Don't think being in Big 12 will change it that much. I'm taking about the 4/5 star Florida kids that are now going to Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Clemson, Texas, Michigan, etc. that would stay in-state 10-15 years ago. Of the top 50 Florida kids in 2024- only 23/50 are staying in State- lions share going to Miami, FSU, and Florida but a few to USF and UCF also. With NIL, that number is going to keep going down.

Where is that bump a program gets from winning a natty?
