I don't understand this. I'm almost through the 1st season of Reacher and that's just been the show and that's why it's so great. It's over the top, ridiculous, cheesy, badass. They just dialed it up even more in the season 2 finale?

I had my first hemorrhoid back in college, during one summer. We were doing an archeological dig in the land of Mako, camping on the banks of the Yadkin River. Apparently my diet was shit, and that combined with the straining of lifting so much weight on the dig, bam hemorrhoids. I had a sigmoidoscopy without sedation, which is hands down the most brutal medical procedure I've ever endured. From that point forward, I've insisted to be sedated and do a full colonoscopy.
 
Looping back to the hymn discussion from a few days back; Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing just came on shuffle. Another one that hits differently.

I imagine the production meeting went something like this:

I know you all think this season has already been the most Reacher that Reacher can be, but I want more. I want you to all Reach deep inside of yourselves find your inner Reacher and come up with ways to make this the most Reacher episode ever. He needs to be at his most Reacherest. No idea is too Reacher.
