They haven’t learned that lesson all season, but I am CERTAIN this will finally be the road game that teaches them something (roll eyes emoji).

Yeah hard to see a bounce back from this debacle. Even if we do, we will lose final three to end season. Wake is just cursed for some reason.

Everyone knew this was a fucking trap game. Forbes knew it. The players knew it. And yet they find some way to post the first quad 4 loss of the season and possibly play their way out of the tournament.

I don’t understand how you can shit the bed this badly with so much on the line.

I'm as pissed as everyone else here but if we win our last 3 games we will make the field of at least 68. That said, I have little to no faith that we will win our last 3.

Exactly. Forbes sticks with guys who just don’t have it. When Boopie is being pushed around you just need to shuffle him out because he is a net negative on both ends when he plays like that. Granted Parker had some open looks and missed them but he isn’t gonna miss all night is he? Same situation in Chapel Hill with Hildreth. You gotta recognize when someone is hurting the team.

Sallis 2-11 ( 1 for his last 10) and 4 turnovers. Boopie with 3 or 4 turnovers where he just lost a handle. Then they were somehow in the bonus with 13.5 minutes left. Talk about a recipe for disaster.

I would always do this, if they have a lousy foul shooter on the floor. If we are going to foul the guy who is having the best night of his career, then maybe not the best strategy.

The no-call on the Sallis kicked ball was just the 50th trash no-call in that game.

If you're going to be upset with Forbes about this game, it's not the defense - held them in the 60's without the last second fouls. Can't yell about the offense, excellent first half and missed more than a dozen wide open shots both inside and outside in the 2nd.

But on the 10th moving screen or the 8th no-call on shoving Sallis, Boopie, or Cam on drives - he could have gotten a tech and raised hell. Because when you don't bitch enough like Keats getting ejected against us and then it paying off with the Sallis ejection, the end of game scenario happens where nothing is a foul. That review on the Sallis kick was comical in that they just come and and shove and swipe his arm but they just have to say oh yeah it's off his foot.

Now we need all 3 and a tourney win. Which we won't get. I smell Dayton in our future.
 
Why is Forbes giving Sallis that second to last shot? He was shooting terribly and he literally dribbled the ball off of his foot like a minute before that possession.

And wtf is up with Boopie missing the front end of big one and ones? He has done that pretty consistently recently.

Reid also could not catch a pass to save his life and he got 3 fouls in the first four minutes of the second half.

Just awful all around second half.
